About Our Programs

Our Vision

To assist parents in our community, by providing high-quality, safe, and affordable care.

Our Mission

We believe in fostering an educational and developmentally appropriate environment. It is our job to help each child develop a positive self-image through positive reinforcement in a calm and nurturing environment.

Our Philosophy

We recognize that our contribution is not complete in itself. We view our service should be partnered with the families, schools, and community resources to provide the best opportunities for your child.
We are here because we want to serve you.

    Multilingual Approach

Cooks Hill is a Dual Language Center employing many Spanish and English speaking teachers and using the Spanish Creative Curriculum Solution. Additionally, all teachers are trained in American Sign Language and incorporate sign language into each classroom.

  • Creative Curriculum Solutions

Cooks Hill Community Childcare implements the Creative Curriculum System. The Creative Curriculum is a Teaching Strategies product that focuses on project-based studies as a means for children to apply skills, and addresses four areas of development: social/emotional, physical, cognitive, and language. We offer The Creative Curriculum for Infants, all toddler classes, as well as The Creative Curriculum for Preschool.

  • Supplemental Programming

In addition, Cooks Hill provides other opportunities in fun and meaningful focused programming. Throughout the year there are daily or weekly things added to the program, like Science Week, Bike Week and Water Play Days!

We also supplement our curriculum with Faith Concept lessons from Think Orange. This curriculum empowers teachers to invite their students to grow in their spiritual awareness.
